My group and i got together for 3 hours. we finished our project! yay! we made the valentines we are passing out. the 3fold is finished. we found our youtube video and figured out how we are presenting things.

We worked together in class to make more of the 3-fold flyer and the facebook page.

Thursday we got together and made shirts and finished our PowerPoint. After the group finished meeting I figured out how to put music onto our PowerPoint.
We plan on meeting again on Monday to finish our project for our presentation on Tuesday.

Over the week I have been looking up facts, uploading pictures, and displaying facts to our facebook page

My group got together and we worked out on brochure and flyer. I put together both of them while we all looked up information. We also talked about how we are going to present and what we are going to present. We are planning to get together again on Thursday to make valentines and work more on our project and final touches.

results of the quizzes

The results of the quizzes really shocked me! I did not expect to be a visual learner. Even though they are all really close to the other results I could have had visual came out on top. I will be changing my learning habits to write more into creative ways and try to color coat main ideas and key points. Also try to focus more on topics rather than lots of little ideas as they go.

group project update two

1 hour and 15 minutes

My group and I got together last night to work some more on our project. We began by looking up things we could do. We know Professor Dighton told us we could not make a PowerPoint but we are using the program to make a commercial/slideshow. We start off by showing the 1950s and move into the present time. One of our pictures might be controversial but it goes along with our idea we state a fact about how 30% of homosexual males try to attempt suicide and then show a picture of someone cutting their wrist. We feel like this really puts the message out there about how hurtful a few words to someone might be.

1st group meeting

We got together for almost an hour and 45 minutes to discuss our project and get the proposal done. I also started the facebook page. We began to look at videos and other ways we are going to communicate our project.

I am so excited about our final project! I feel like this will give us an opportunity to show our creativity besides just writing a paper. How does everyone else feel about this?
